Chester, CT, Sept. 9
For Immediate Release

The 2010 racing season finale at Miller Motorsports Park will be a double header for driver Eric Curran.

Curran will be racing the #31 Marsh Racing/Whelen Engineering Chevrolet Corvette in Saturday's GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series finale. Sunday will feature the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West race where Curran will pilot the #25 Modspace Toyota Camry, owned by Bill McAnally Racing.

Teammate Boris Said joins Curran for his fifth appearance with the Whelen/Marsh Team in Saturday's two hour and forty-five minute Rolex series race on the flat 15-turn, 3.048-mile road course in Tooele, UT.

"The Marsh/Whelen team is really pumped for the last race of the Rolex series season at Miller," said Curran. "We keep getting stronger and stronger each race this year, to the point where just two weeks ago we earned the pole at Montreal. That race showed how hard these Marsh Racing guys have been working. We're hoping for some great results this weekend and this team deserves it."

"I haven't raced at Miller yet this year," Curran added, "but I have a good record there, and I think we can make a very good showing for Whelen and ModSpace this weekend. They'll be visible on both racecars this weekend."

Curran has raced at Miller Motorsports Park eight times since 2006 in three professional series, winning the Continental Tire race in both 2007 and 2008. He'll be teammates again with Brandon Davis in the NASCAR race, Davis and Curran have been teammates in the past, and has also strong opponents when Curran was in the World Challenge series.
