 Personal: Born June 8, 1975. Eric llives in Easthampton, Mass. and owns an independent Volvo dealership in Hadley Mass. Eric enjoys racing cars, go karting and driver coaching. He drives a 07 BMW 335i Coupe on the street and his favorite track is Lime Rock Park in Connecticut. Fast Facts: Eric has competed in the Grand Am Rolex series and Koni Challenge Since 2000. with over 8 pole qualifying laps, and over 12 wins in the Grand American Rolex and Koni Challenge series. Eric qualified on the Pole at a Daytona Rolex race over 196 mph. Eric has qualified on the pole 11 times and won over 20 races in his professional racing career since 2000. Eric has also driven over 30 different types of race cars ranging from front wheel drive to rear wheel drive and from 150 hp-750hp and over 40 total wins under his belt. 2007: Teamed with Georgian Bay Motorsports, Eric won two races and won two pole qualifiers in Koni Challenge. Eric competed in a number of Rolex GT races where he qualified in the top five and raced as high as third. Eric also competed in World Challenge GT in a Whelen Corvette where he won four races—forty percent of the races in 07, led the most laps, won one pole, and received three awards for his driving. 2006: Teamed with Georgian Bay Motorsports, Eric won 4 races, one pole, and five podiums in Koni Challenge. Eric also drove for the Factory Realtime World Challenge touring car team where he won one race, two poles, and four podiums. 2005: Teamed with Bill Fenton motorsports, Eric had three podiums, and two poles. Eric also drove for the Factory Realtime Acura World Challenge touring car team where he won one race and had four podiums. 2004: Teamed with Bill Fenton motorsports, Eric won one race, one pole, and 6 podiums in Koni Challenge. 2003: : Teamed with Bill Fenton motorsports, Eric had 3 wins, one pole, and two seconds in Grand Am. Eric also qualified on pole and finished second in the Daytona Rolex Grand Am Champions Weekend. He was second quick in Daytona Rolex test days, and led the most laps in the Mid Ohio Rolex race while set fastest lap over all cars including DP’s. Signed with Factory World Challenge Nissan team for second half of season in World Challenge and finished on the podium. 2002: Teamed with Sky Blue racing, Eric finished on the podium twice, Qualified on Pole and won the 6-hour race in Grand Am Rolex. Eric won his first race in his first Koni Challenge start at VIR. 2001: Teamed with KAC technologies, Eric drove their C-5 Corvette in World Challenge GT to many top five finishes, and won three hard charger awards. 2000: Teamed with KAC technologies, Eric finished in the top five in World Challenge GT. Eric also finished 3rd in the Rolex 24hr. at Daytona, qualified on the pole in Rolex GT at Limerock and finished second while set fastest race lap. Finished fourth at Sebring in first Motorola Cup start. Eric’s first year of professional racing 1994-1999: Eric owned his own team and won the 1999 Valvoline Runoffs, and four SCCA National races along with three track records in his first year of National competition. From 94-98 Eric won four championships, won 21 races and won 10 qualifying poles in SCCA regional competition. Along with Eric’s busy racing schedule he owns a Volvo Dealership in Mass. Eric also does driver coaching, data collection, and chassis set up for many racing teams.
