Eric currently drives professionally for Whelen Engineering/Marsh Racing in the Grand-Am Rolex GT series driving the #31 Whelen Corvette with teammate Boris Said. Eric also drives for CKS Autosport in their Grand Am Continental Camaro teamed with Ashley Mcalmont from Canada.
Eric also enjoys testing and developing racecars, racing go-karts, and coaching all levels of drivers. On the street he drives a BMW M3 coupe and a Volvo S60R
Eric grew up road racing in the Northeast and his favorite hometown track is Lime Rock Park in CT, close to where he grew up in New England.
Eric began racing since 1994, starting in SCCA Club racing with Improved Touring cars, SCCA Solo events, and ice racing. Eric won 21 races and 4 championships in the ITB SCCA series in the first four years of competition.
Eric then won the 1999 SCCA Runoffs National Championship in the American Sedan class, he turned professional the next year and scored his first pro win not long after.
Eric has raced in over 23 racing series– GRAND-AM ROLEX Sports Car Series, GRAND-AM Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge GS & ST, IMSA American Le Mans Series, NASCAR K&N, NASCAR Camping World, NASCAR Modified Series, GRAND-AM Koni Challenge GS & ST, SCCA World Challenge GT and Touring car, SCCA Trans-Am, SCCA Playboy Mazda MX-5, SCCA ITS, ITA, ITB, ITC, Motorola Cup GS1 & GS2, National Auto Sport Assn., American GT, Viper Racing League and NARRA.
Through 148 professional races at the end of the 2008 season, Eric has qualified on the pole 20 times, won 24 races, finished in the top three 49 times, and 101 times in the top 10.
